Senior Accountant, for a Fast-Growing Remote Finance-as-a-Service Company
About the role:
We are looking for an all-around Senior Accountant to provide our clients with solid financial information and guidance about their businesses.

We are a full-service financial support service, working mainly with e-Commerce and Service companies - delivering the full finance function, from accounting to fractional CFO services, and from management reporting and analysis to internal control.
Our team is entirely remote and is currently dispersed among several nations in Europe, Asia, and South America, while the majority of our clients are located in the US, Europe, and Asia. We are a team of 25 and are growing rapidly.

What you’ll be doing
Because we are a young company with a rapidly growing clientele, you will manage accounting for a number of our clients who are situated in several different countries and in a variety of industries. Your attention will be on the daily and weekly accounting tasks, with a particular emphasis on the AR, AP, and inventory, while you also offer assistance with the monthly and yearly financial closing.
Responsibilities
End-to-end bookkeeping for various subsidiaries of one of our clients
Process balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
Oversee junior accountants in daily processing of journal entries ensuring all business transactions are accurately recorded
Oversee junior accountants in updating accounts payable and receivable, issuing invoices and performing reconciliations
Ensure accurate bank and account reconciliations
Update financial data in the relevant accounting platform to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed\
Review expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Prepare monthly/yearly closings
Oversee other accounting projects
To succeed in this role, you most likely have:
5+ years experience in bookkeeping or preferably accounting (end-to-end processes including FSCP/Financial Statements Closing Procedures)
Experienced in handling multiple clients with weekly and monthly timelines
Proven experience working with e-Commerce or Service Companies
Proven experience in major accounting platforms such as but not limited to Xero, QBO, Netsuite and Hubdoc; banks, payment and revenue portals
Experience with working remote (atleast 3+ years)
Strong business acumen
Experience having responsibility for businesses operating in the international market is a plus
Experience having responsibility for Hong Kong, EU and/or United States bookkeeping or accounting (tax knowledge in these territories is a plus!)
Experience having responsibility for businesses operating in the international market is a plus
Experience with Payroll in Gusto or similar platforms is a plus
