Senior AI Engineer — Cyndra AI

Cyndra AI is building AI application's that replaces how knowledge workers get things done. We're early, moving fast, and looking for an engineer who ships.

What you'll do:
You'll own the AI layer end-to-end — from prompt architecture and agent design to the backend infrastructure that runs it all reliably. You'll work directly with the founding team to turn product ideas into working systems, fast.

Design and iterate on LLM pipelines, prompt systems, and multi-step agent workflows
Build and maintain backend services that power Cyndra's core automation features
Integrate with model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) and third-party APIs/tools
Optimize for latency, reliability, and cost across agent execution paths
Contribute to full-stack features — from API design through to the desktop UI layer
Set the technical bar: code quality, architecture decisions, and engineering patterns

What we're looking for:

4+ years of software engineering, with 2+ years working directly with LLMs in production
Deep understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, tool use, and agent orchestration patterns
Strong backend fundamentals — APIs, async systems, cloud infra (AWS/DO/Hetzner)
Experience shipping desktop or cross-platform apps is a plus (Tauri/Electron)
Bias toward action — you figure things out, ship, and iterate
Can operate with minimal oversight in a fast-moving, async-first environment

Anthropic Claude, OpenClaw, Composio, Tauri, Node/Python backends, cloud infra across multiple providers.
