Senior AI Architect & Automation Strategist (Agents, Voice & Workflow Automation)

We're a growing AI automation agency (based in Australia) looking for a highly experienced AI Architect to join us on a part-time or full-time remote basis. This is a senior, hands-on role — not just advisory.
You'll work directly with the agency founder to audit our current business and client delivery stack, identify high-impact AI implementation opportunities, and build or oversee the build of AI agents, voice systems, and automation workflows.
What you'll be doing:

Reviewing our existing tech stack and client service offerings to identify gaps and opportunities
Designing and recommending AI systems across automation, agents, and voice
Building or directing the build of AI voice agents (e.g. Vapi, Retell, ElevenLabs integrations)
Building AI agents and multi-agent pipelines (e.g. LangChain, CrewAI, Claude API, OpenAI)
Designing and optimising automation workflows ( ---------- , Zapier, n8n)
Integrating AI into CRM, outreach, and operational systems
Documenting systems and creating SOPs for ongoing use

You must have experience with:

AI agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar)
AI voice platforms (Vapi, Retell, Bland, or ElevenLabs)
Workflow automation tools ( ---------- , Zapier, n8n)
LLM APIs — Claude, OpenAI, Gemini
Python and/or JavaScript
Prompt engineering and system design
Working within a lean agency or startup environment

Bonus if you have:

Experience scoping and selling AI solutions to SMB clients
Knowledge of RAG, vector databases, or fine-tuning
Prior work in an AI agency setting
