Self- Hosted Automations Technician (Part-Time)

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Self Hosted Automations Technician who can handle the setup, launch, and maintenance of a self hosted N8N environment. This role requires someone who understands VPS servers, platform installation, automation logic, and workflow optimization. You will also support automation work across Go High Level, Instantly, Apollo, Calendly, and other connected tools. Occasional overlap with USA hours for check ins is preferred.

This is not a basic automation role. Experience launching and maintaining a self hosted automation platform is required.

Key Responsibilities
• Install and launch a self hosted N8N instance on a VPS
• Configure system settings, environment variables, domains, and SSL
• Maintain ongoing updates, version upgrades, and platform security
• Build and troubleshoot automations inside N8N
• Connect platforms using APIs and webhooks
• Set up workflows inside Go High Level and assist with automation logic
• Support Apollo, Instantly, and Calendly integrations
• Document technical steps for future reference
• Help improve internal systems inside Notion and ClickUp

Qualifications

• Proven experience launching self hosted N8N or a similar automation platform
• Experience with VPS or cloud platforms such as DigitalOcean, Linode, or Vultr
• Understanding of Docker, SSH access, or basic server configuration
• Experience with Go High Level automation
• Familiar with Apollo, Instantly, and Calendly
• Comfortable working with API calls and JSON mapping
• Strong problem solving skills
• Clear English communication
• Some overlap with USA hours for team discussions
