JOB OVERVIEW
Are you a seasoned leader with a background in managing high-performing teams in the telecommunications (Telco) industry? We're urgently looking for a Sales Team Leader who has the grit, discipline, and resilience to manage our chat sales team and meet our evolving operational needs. If you come from a Telco campaign background, you’ll find this role an excellent fit, as we need a strong leader who thrives in structured environments and can drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and Motivate: Inspire and guide a team of chat sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
2. Strategize and Grow: Design and implement strategies to maximize sales opportunities, focusing on measurable results and customer acquisition.
3. Analyze and Improve: Monitor team performance metrics, analyze sales data, and continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and results.
4. Coach and Train: Deliver targeted coaching and training to improve the team's overall productivity and individual performance.
5. Client Management: Oversee key client accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and acting as a point of escalation for any issues.
6. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client and sales records, and generate reports on performance metrics.
7. Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams such as marketing and product development to optimize sales operations and client service.
8. Stay Ahead: Keep up with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities.
9. Compliance: Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Non-negotiables (We will not entertain applicants who do not meet the following requirements):
1. Telco Experience: At least 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, particularly in the telecommunications industry, leading teams in a structured, performance-driven environment.
2. Sales Leadership: Proven track record in driving sales results, ideally within chat-based sales or similar platforms.
3. Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively coach, guide, and motivate tea
4. Resilience and Grit: Demonstrated resilience and adaptability to thrive in high-pressure situations while maintaining high performance and discipline.
Other qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in platforms such as G Suite,
3. Strong leadership and data-driven decision-making skills.
4. Ability to work in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
5. Experience collaborating with various departments to optimize sales strategies and customer experience.
6. Problem-solving mindset with a results-oriented approach.
7. Strong commitment to upholding company policies and compliance standards.
