Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR) — Remote
We are a manufacturer and distributor of branded tools, hardware, and outdoor products sold through major US retailers and industrial distributors nationwide.
We are hiring a remote Business Development Representative to drive outbound prospecting and lead generation for our industrial and lawn & garden channels.
Responsibilities
Research and build targeted prospect lists of industrial distributors, MRO buyers, landscape supply companies, garden centers, and commercial accounts
Execute high-volume outbound
Follow up on warm leads and move prospects toward a scheduled call with senior management
Maintain accurate records of all outreach activity and pipeline status in CRM
Identify the right buyer contact at each target account (purchasing manager, category buyer, etc.)
Report weekly on outreach volume, response rates, and pipeline activity
Requirements
Excellent written English — this role is primarily
Prior B2B outbound sales or lead generation experience preferred
Experience selling into or supporting retail accounts is a strong plus — please indicate in your application whether you have retail sales experience and describe the accounts you worked with
NetSuite experience preferred — familiarity with CRM, sales orders, or customer records in NetSuite is an advantage
Comfortable with high outreach volume
Self-directed and organized working remotely
Familiarity with tools, hardware, or industrial products a plus but not required
Compensation
Base salary + bonus tied to sales
