JOB OVERVIEW

Work with the Content Manager, CEO and the growing marketing team at Adventure Life to implement SEO and AIO strategy on the Adventure Life website and monitor performance to assess these efforts.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

- Maintain and monitor SEO performance using tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Google Search Console, and other reporting tools used by Adventure Life.
- Implement SEO improvements and recommendations provided by Adventure Life’s SEO firm or other SEO reporting tools, such as technical audits, metadata fixes, duplicate content fixes, redirect and broken link fixes, etc.
- Conduct rank, query, page, and keyword research and analysis for a variety of departments upon request for articles, itineraries, destination pages, and other pages.
- Identify and spearhead copy requests to fill content gaps to maximize SEO potential and search visibility across the website.
- Conduct ongoing destination or theme audits and optimization projects of existing website content to identify inaccuracies and areas for performance improvements.
- Execute and measure optimizations to assess SEO performance of changes.
- Track top traffic page performance to assess SEO efforts.
- Track keyword database for all ‘owned’ keywords across Adventure Life’s top URLs.
- Manage all incoming website edit requests by staff and coordinate with copywriters, graphic designers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure requests are completed and published.
- Collaborate with Sales/Trip Planners and other internal stakeholders to ensure website content is accurate, relevant, and reflective of current travel expertise and offerings.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Computer literacy, including familiarity with Google Suite tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Basic knowledge of SEO/AIO principles and keyword research
- Critical thinking and analytics skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Independent work ethic and ability to meet communicated deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

- A bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in digital marketing, content strategy, or SEO
- Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console
- Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or Screaming Frog
- Travel industry knowledge or experience a plus

This is a full-time, 40 hours/week position scheduled by the Content Manager within Adventure Life business hours of 7AM-7PM Mountain Standard Time Monday through Friday (though schedule flexibility may be possible). This position is fully remote.
