The ideal candidate has a diverse SEO background, both with content/on-site SEO and backlinking, as well as technical SEO, including a strong understanding of schema/structured data.

Expert understanding of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console is essential. A basic understanding of optimizing and posting blog content on WordPress is also essential.

A background in link building is also important.

The ideal candidate will be able to progress to a more senior-level SEO role.

Job duties:
daily: optimize and post blog articles on WordPress (content supplied, so NO copywriting/editing needed)
daily: syndicate blogs to social bookmarking and sharing websites
weekly/monthly: set up new clients in Google Analytics/Tag Manager/Ads with proper events, goals, filters
monthly: run technical audits on all websites with Google Search Console and report and dev errors to webmaster
monthly: help grow backlinks, citations by reaching out to other websites/businesses
quarterly: update schema markup on sites
quarterly: disavow toxic backlinks

Skills:
5+ years SEO experience
Experience with WordPress required
Experience with all SEO required: content, on-site, off-site, technical
Strong understanding of Google Search Console required
Strong understanding of Google Tag Manager required
Strong understanding of Google Analytics required
Proven track record for building backlinks and improving rankings
Experience with HARO preferred

**Must be able to have at least 2 hours overlap with U.S. working hours 8am-6pm EST.
