SEO Specialist

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to help Power Plus Systems dominate search engine rankings and increase online visibility. This is not a full-time position and does not have a fixed shift unless meetings are required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO best practices, from keyword research to technical optimization, content marketing, and link-building strategies. Our goal is to rank on top search results for keywords relevant to our industry. A weekly performance report is expected to track progress and impact.


Pay Range: $600 with a performance review scheduled after 90 days of employment. We believe in rewarding exceptional talents.

Objectives:

Optimize our website and content to rank on top search results for industry-relevant keywords.
Conduct thorough keyword research to target high-traffic, conversion-driven search terms.
Improve on-page SEO elements, including meta tags, headings, content, images, and site speed.
Manage Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools to track and improve website performance.
Implement local SEO strategies, including Google My Business optimization and local citations.
Develop and execute content marketing strategies, including blog posts and outreach for high-quality backlinks.
Perform technical SEO audits and implement solutions for canonicalization, URL structure, robots.txt, and sitemap optimization.
Monitor and report on keyword rankings, acquired backlinks, and website performance.


Competencies:

Proven experience in SEO strategy and execution.
Strong understanding of Google algorithms, ranking factors, and best practices.
Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.
Expertise in on-page, technical, and off-page SEO.
Experience in local SEO and Google My Business optimization.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and prepare insightful reports.
Excellent communication and content optimization skills.
Ability to stay up to date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.


Equipment Requirements:

Must own a reliable computer or laptop capable of handling SEO tools efficiently.
High-speed internet connection to support data analysis, research, and collaboration.



Physical Requirements:

Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
