Position Overview:
We are seeking an SEO Specialist with proven expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO to join our dynamic team. Your main goal will be to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic and leads for our roofing-industry clients. You’ll work closely with our fulfillment and client success teams to optimize website content, implement SEO best practices, and analyze performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Keyword Research & Strategy
Conduct thorough keyword research tailored to roofing services, target regions, and competition.
Develop and maintain an SEO roadmap with a clear set of goals, initiatives, and timelines.
On-Page Optimization

- Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and URLs for target keywords.
Collaborate with content writers to ensure blog posts, landing pages, and other site copy follow SEO best practices.
Technical SEO

- Perform regular site audits (using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.) to identify and fix issues (e.g., broken links, site speed, mobile usability).

- Implement structured data, canonical tags, and other advanced technical optimizations.

- Off-Page SEO & Link Building
Develop and execute a link-building strategy focused on relevant, high-quality backlinks.
Monitor backlink profiles, address potential toxic links, and ensure a healthy, diverse link portfolio.
Performance Tracking & Reporting

- Monitor keyword rankings, traffic, and conversions, providing regular performance updates and actionable insights.

- Create monthly or bi-weekly reports for clients and internal stakeholders.

-Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with the Client Success Manager, fulfillment team, and web developers to align on objectives and share updates.
Stay informed of the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates, sharing learnings with the broader team.


Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2+ years in SEO with a proven track record of improving rankings and organic traffic (experience with service-based or local businesses is a plus).

- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog), CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), and basic HTML.

- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret data from tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other reporting systems.

- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex SEO findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Organization & Self-Motivation: Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a remote work environment.
