Job Title: SEO Manager (Ecommerce)
Location: Remote / Hybrid (depending on agency setup)

Job Overview
We are seeking a results-driven SEO Manager to lead and execute search engine optimization strategies for multiple ecommerce clients. This role will be responsible for managing 5+ ecommerce stores independently, ensuring strong organic growth, improved search visibility, and measurable revenue impact.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in technical SEO, on-page optimization, keyword strategy, and ecommerce SEO, and is comfortable owning SEO strategy from planning to execution.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies for 5+ ecommerce stores simultaneously.
Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Build and maintain SEO roadmaps aligned with business goals and client KPIs.
Monitor search trends and algorithm updates to adjust strategies accordingly.
On-Page SEO
Optimize product pages, category pages, and collections for improved rankings.
Implement best practices for meta tags, headers, internal linking, and structured data.
Work with content teams to create SEO-optimized product descriptions, blog content, and landing pages.
Improve site architecture and crawlability.
Technical SEO
Conduct regular technical audits to identify and resolve issues affecting site performance.
Manage SEO factors such as:
Site speed
Mobile optimization
Indexing issues
Canonicalization
Schema markup
Core Web Vitals
Collaborate with developers to implement technical improvements.
Ecommerce SEO
Optimize product listings, category pages, and filters for organic search.
Manage SEO strategies for large product catalogs.
Improve conversion-focused search traffic.
Analytics & Reporting
Track and analyze SEO performance using tools like:
Google Analytics
Google Search Console
Ahrefs / SEMrush
Provide monthly SEO performance reports including rankings, traffic growth, and revenue impact.
Identify areas for optimization and continuous improvement.
Link Building & Authority Growth
Develop and execute ethical link-building strategies.
Identify backlink opportunities and partnerships.
Monitor backlink profiles and address toxic links.
Client & Project Management
Manage multiple ecommerce SEO projects simultaneously.
Communicate strategy, progress, and results clearly to internal teams or clients.
Prioritize tasks and maintain project timelines.
Requirements
Experience
3–5+ years of SEO experience, preferably within an agency environment.
Proven experience managing multiple ecommerce websites.
Demonstrated success in growing organic traffic and revenue.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of:
Technical SEO
On-page optimization
Ecommerce SEO structures
Experience with SEO tools such as:
Ahrefs / SEMrush
Screaming Frog
Google Analytics
Google Search Console
Familiarity with Shopify, WooCommerce, or other ecommerce platforms.
Soft Skills

Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Ability to manage 5+ SEO accounts independently.
