Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate qualified sales meetings for SafestHires.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting, initiating conversations with decision-makers, uncovering business challenges, and creating opportunities for our founders and senior sales team.
The SDR's primary responsibility is to schedule introductory meetings between qualified prospects and SafestHires leadership.
This is a high-activity role requiring confidence, persistence, professionalism, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Cold Call and Linkedin Prospecting
- Identify and research target accounts
- Build prospect lists within assigned industries and territories
- Engage decision-makers through phone and LinkedIn
- Appointment Setting
- Conduct outbound prospecting campaigns
- Qualify opportunities using established criteria
- Schedule introductory discovery meetings with SafestHires founders
- Ensure prospects understand the value of the meeting before booking
- Relationship Building
- Establish credibility with senior executives
- Build rapport quickly with HR, Operations and Founder leaders
- Maintain professional follow-up sequences
- CRM Management
- Accurately document all activities
- Update prospect statuses
- Maintain clean CRM records
- Track meetings booked and pipeline generated
- Target Decision Makers

Success Metrics (KPIs)

- 75–125 outbound activities per day

Ideal Candidate
- 1+ years of B2B sales, SDR, business development, recruiting, staffing, or customer-facing experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong phone presence
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Comfortable speaking with executives
Preferred
- Experience selling HR technology, recruiting services, SaaS, staffing, payroll, PEO, or background screening services
- Experience using HubSpot, Linkedin, ZoomInfo
- Understanding of HR and talent acquisition functions

Compensation Structure
Base Salary
$7.00 per hour
Performance Incentives
- $21.00 per qualified meeting bonuses
- 5% recurring commission on every deal we close
- Clear path into Account Executive or sales leadership role
On-Target Earnings (OTE)
$1,305 - $1,600 per month
