We are a NYC-based premium portrait studio specializing in maternity, newborn, and beauty work. We are currently building a new portfolio and refining our visual standard.

We are looking for a high-end retoucher capable of delivering true editorial / Vogue-level results.
If your work is not at this level, this will not be the right fit.

– Annie Leibovittz

This is not basic retouching. The work requires subtle, refined skin work, precise light shaping, and controlled, sophisticated color suitable for large-format fine art prints.

Scope of Work:
– Retouch high-resolution RAW images
– Advanced skin retouching (dodge & burn, texture preservation)
– Refine tones, contrast, and color grading
– Clean details (hair, background, wardrobe imperfections)
– Prepare final images for premium print and client delivery
– Maintain consistency across full sets of images

Additional Requirement (Important):
As part of this project, we are refining our internal workflow and visual standard.

The selected retoucher will be asked to:
– Retouch a small set of images (approx. 5)
– Provide a screen recording of their retouching process (with light explanation)

This will be used internally to help train our team and ensure consistency in style.

Requirements:
– Strong portfolio in beauty, fashion, or high-end portrait retouching
– Demonstrated ability to achieve natural, high-end skin texture (no over-smoothing)
– Strong sense of light, depth, and color
– Ability to follow direction and match a defined visual style
– Reliable communication and turnaround
