JOB TITLE
Remote Operations Manager — Amazon Agency Pod (US Client Hours)
ABOUT US
Elevate33 is a US-based Amazon operating partner agency. We manage 1P Vendor Central and 3P Seller Central accounts for consumer brands across retail operations, inventory, advertising, and catalog. Our offshore pod of five executes the daily work. Our stateside team owns client relationships and strategy. We are hiring a Remote Operations Manager to run the offshore pod day to day.
THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL ASSISTANT ROLE
We are not hiring a VA. We are hiring the person who manages our VAs. If you have never led a remote team before, this is not the right job for you. If you have run a BPO pod or supervised a remote team of three or more for at least two years, please read on.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will run our offshore team of five specialists covering catalog, SEO, monitoring, advertising, and client communications. Your day starts with a fifteen minute standup with the pod. You will assign and reassign tasks in Asana, quality check work before it moves to our stateside reviewers, enforce internal deadlines, and produce a weekly performance report for our Director of Delivery. You will own the Asana queue across all client projects and ensure that nothing stalls because a task was not routed correctly.
You will not talk to clients. You will not approve work that affects client profit and loss. Those decisions stay with our stateside team. Your job is to make sure the work that reaches them is complete, accurate, and on time.
WHAT WE EXPECT IN YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS
In your first thirty days you will learn our Asana operating model, run the daily pod standup, and gradually take over Asana queue triage from current owners. By day sixty you will own the queue completely and produce weekly pod performance reports without prompting. By day ninety you will be enforcing internal service level agreements, identifying SOP gaps, and proposing process improvements based on what you have observed in the queue.
REQUIREMENTS
You must have at least three years of experience leading remote teams or supervising in a BPO environment. You must be fluent in written and spoken English at a C1 level or higher. You must have hands on experience with Asana, ClickUp, Monday, or a comparable project management tool. You must have written standard operating procedures before and be able to share samples in your application. You must be available during US Eastern business hours with at least four hours of overlap each day.
You do not need Amazon experience. We will train you on Vendor Central, Seller Central, and the specifics of our work. We need someone who knows how to run a team and a queue.
NICE TO HAVE
Prior experience with Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central. Familiarity with Slack and Google Workspace. Exposure to time tracking tools like Harvest or Toggl
COMPENSATION
$800/Mo
HOW TO APPLY
Submit your application through OnlineJobs.ph with the following. Your resume with two references we can contact. A short paragraph (no more than 150 words) describing the largest remote team you have personally managed, what tools you used, and what your team was responsible for. A sample standard operating procedure you have written, attached as a PDF or linked to a Google Doc.
In the subject line of your application, write OPS MANAGER E33 followed by the name of the project management tool you have the most experience with. Applications without this subject line will not be reviewed. We use this to confirm you read the post carefully, which is the single most important trait for this role.
INTERVIEW PROCESS
We will respond to qualified applications within five business days. The process is three steps. A thirty minute screening call to confirm fit and verify experience. A sixty minute working interview where we will share three live Asana tasks and ask you to triage them out loud. A final call with the Director of Delivery to discuss compensation and start date. We aim to make an offer within three weeks of your application.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Our pod is talented but unmanaged. The right Operations Manager will unlock significant growth for the team and for the agency. This is a long term role with room to grow into a Director of Operations position as we scale. We are looking for someone who wants to build a career, not someone looking for a placeholder job.
