To support our growing sales team, we are hiring a Remote Solar Designer to handle solar system pre-designs, ensuring our sales consultants can focus on what they do best—selling and closing deals.

Role Overview
As a Remote Solar Designer, you will be responsible for creating accurate and efficient solar designs using our industry-leading software, Pylon. You will be provided with lead details and electricity bills once an appointment is scheduled, and your role will be to prepare a preliminary system design, including panel and battery placements, indicative pricing, and system requirements.

This role is crucial in streamlining our sales process, ensuring that sales consultants arrive at appointments with a well-prepared design and all the necessary lead details set up in our Solar PPA portal.

Key Responsibilities
Electricity Bill Assessment: Analyze customer electricity bills to determine energy usage patterns and system requirements.
Solar System Pre-Design (Using Pylon): Create initial solar panel and battery designs based on customer needs and site specifications.
Ensure optimal panel placement while considering shading, roof space, and efficiency.
Preliminary Pricing & Proposal Preparation: Use Lenergy’s pricing sheet to generate indicative pricing for solar and battery systems.
Set up leads in our Solar PPA portal with rough system requirements and customer details.
Sales Support & CRM Management: Ensure all design information is available for sales consultants before their appointments.
Keep lead records updated with design details for seamless handover to the sales team.

Required Skills & Experience
? Solar Industry Knowledge – Strong understanding of solar PV systems, battery storage, and energy efficiency.
? Pylon Software Proficiency – Prior experience with Pylon or similar solar design tools.
? Electricity Bill Analysis – Ability to read and interpret customer energy bills.
? Detail-Oriented & Organised – Ensure accuracy in system designs and pricing.
? Basic Sales & Communication Skills – Ability to present design insights clearly to the team.
? Tech-Savvy – Comfortable with CRM systems, design tools, and data entry.
