Role Overview

We are hiring a QA Analyst / User Experience Checker to ensure our apps, websites, and player portals feel smooth, intuitive, and bug-free. You will test live and staging environments, report issues clearly, verify fixes, and think like a real player interacting with the experience.

If you have ever looked at an app and immediately thought, "That button should not be there," you are our kind of person.

Key Responsibilities

- Test Buzztime apps, games, and websites across desktop, mobile, and tablet
- Identify bugs, UX issues, performance problems, and inconsistencies
- Capture detailed evidence (screenshots, steps to reproduce, video when needed)
- Validate fixes from engineering and confirm issues are resolved
- Perform regression testing on major releases
- Rate and document user experience quality for new features
- Report findings to engineering using our internal tools (Jira / Slack)
- Follow structured test cases but also use free-form exploratory testing
- Participate in quick daily check-ins (async OK)

Requirements

- 2+ years QA testing experience (manual QA is fine, automation optional)
- Strong attention to detail; zero fear of repetitive testing
- Solid English reading and writing skills
- Ability to think like a user and catch UX friction
- Stable internet and ability to record screen if needed
- Experience with Jira, Trello, ClickUp, or similar tools
- Comfortable testing web apps and mobile apps
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn our systems

Nice to Have

- Experience testing games
- Familiarity with WordPress, React apps, or APIs
- Basic automation (Selenium or Playwright) is a bonus but not required
- Prior remote work experience
