Required Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have:

Intermediate experience with bookkeeping for U.S.-based businesses.
Experience working with monthly financial reports.
Experience assisting with or preparing diagnostic bookkeeping reports.
Strong understanding of bank and credit card reconciliations.
Familiarity with U.S. bookkeeping workflows, chart of accounts, expense categorization, and month-end review.
Ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and unusual activity in financial records.
Strong attention to detail.
Good written English communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions, checklists, and firm procedures.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Reliable internet connection and a professional remote work environment.
Willingness to work through a secure, monitored remote server.

Work only through the approved remote monitored server.
Not download, copy, photograph, screenshot, print, or share client information.
Keep all client information strictly confidential.
Use only approved systems and communication channels.
Follow all firm security policies.
Sign a confidentiality agreement before beginning work.

Any breach of confidentiality or data security will result in immediate termination.

Required Application Materials

Only complete applications from qualified candidates will be considered.

To apply, candidates must submit the following:

Resume or work history showing U.S. bookkeeping experience.
Example of a diagnostic bookkeeping report they have assisted with or prepared themselves.
Example of a monthly financial report package they have assisted with or prepared themselves.

Important: All examples must be fully redacted. Do not include client names, business names, addresses, bank account numbers, tax ID numbers, personal information, or confidential financial details. If you are not permitted to share prior client work, you may create a sample using demo data or fictional company data.

Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is careful, organized, honest, and comfortable working behind the scenes to keep client books accurate and clean. We are looking for someone who does not simply enter transactions, but understands how to review books, spot problems, and support accurate monthly reporting.

You should be the kind of person who asks, “Does this make sense?” instead of just clicking “save.” Bookkeeping is not just data entry — it is financial housekeeping, and we need someone who keeps the house in order.

How to Apply

Please submit your application with the subject line:
