Opportunity: Remote Attorney / Legal Project Manager
Availability: Substantial availability during 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday to Friday, including scheduled meetings, client deadlines, and time-sensitive promotion administration. This is equivalent to 1:00 AM to 10:00 AM Philippine Time.

SweepstakesPros is a promotions agency serving small and large international clients. We specialize in sweepstakes, contests, and games. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Attorney / Legal Project Manager to support our legal, compliance, and project-management workflows.
This is a dual-role independent contractor opportunity involving legal support and project management for agency projects and processes from inception to completion. You will collaborate with our internal team, production staff, clients, vendors, and attorneys to help manage the end-to-end administration of promotions, including website launches, rules drafting, winner validation, and prize fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Duties (approximately 30% of services)
This role supports legal, compliance, and project-management workflows under the direction of SweepstakesPros and its attorneys. Prior U.S. promotions-law experience is not required, and you will not be expected to provide independent U.S. legal advice. Prior experience with promotions law, sweepstakes/contest compliance, privacy, contracts, or HR-related legal support is helpful but not required. We are looking for someone smart, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working closely with attorneys and project teams. Training will be provided.
• Document Drafting & Review: Work with attorneys and assist in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading a wide range of legal documents, including sweepstakes and contest rules, winner affidavits, liability releases, client/vendor correspondence, and related documents, with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Regulatory Compliance Support: Assist with compliance workflows, legal procedures, filing deadlines, and other compliance steps for U.S. and international promotions, including bonding, registration, and related promotion-administration requirements.
• Corporate Legal Assistance: Work with attorneys and management to support corporate legal by drafting and maintaining policies, HR-related documents, privacy compliance materials, and client and vendor agreements.
• Legal Administrative Support: Coordinate with external attorneys, maintain legal calendars, schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, track deadlines, and handle related administrative tasks.
Project Management Duties (approximately 70% of services)
• Project Planning & Scoping: Help define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success metrics for promotion projects. Develop and maintain project plans, task lists, and timelines using Asana.
• Full Lifecycle Promotion Management: Help oversee the administration of promotions from launch through completion, including winner validation, vendor logistics, prize fulfillment coordination, and coordination with technical project managers for website builds.
• Client and Team Coordination: Coordinate with internal tea
• Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on project status, key milestones, open issues, and potential bottlenecks to the team and relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
• Education: Law degree required.
• Legal Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of legal, compliance, contracts, law-firm, or corporate legal department experience preferred.
• Project Management Experience: Proven experience managing complex projects, deadlines, documents, and workflows from initiation to completion is required.
• Attorney Background: Licensed attorney or attorney-level experience is strongly preferred. Prior U.S. legal experience is helpful but not required.
Skills & Competencies
• Legal Acumen: Solid understanding of legal terminology, legal principles, professional responsibility, confidentiality, and ethical guidelines.
• Organizational Mastery: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining meticulous records and tracking deadlines carefully.
• Attention to Detail: Strong proofreading, issue-spotting, and document-review skills, with the ability to identify inconsistencies, missing information, and follow-up items.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel. Significant experience with Asana or similar project-management tools is a major advantage.

• Proactive & Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently during Pacific Time business hours, identify next steps, ask good questions, and follow through with minimal day-to-day supervision.
• Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential client, consumer, promotion, legal, and business information with care and discretion.
Technical Requirements
• Internet: Stable internet connection, minimum 25 Mbps upload and 50 Mbps download.
• Computer: Reliable computer with minimum Intel i3 CPU or equivalent, i5 or higher preferred, and at least 8GB RAM. SweepstakesPros will provide access to a secure virtual workstation for company systems and project work.
• Hardware: Quality headset or microphone with noise cancellation.
• Workspace: Quiet, professional remote-work environment suitable for video calls, client meetings, and focused document work.
Nature of Relationship
This is a remote, long-term independent contractor opportunity. The contractor will be responsible for complying with applicable tax, licensing, registration, and legal requirements in the contractor’s jurisdiction. Compensation
• Up to 40 hours a week, paid hourly.
• Up to $150 USD per month in additional compensation to help offset remote-work expenses, such as internet, equipment, and other work-related costs.
• 13 paid non-working holidays per year.
• Up to 15 additional paid non-working days per year.
• Discretionary annual bonus opportunities based on strong long-term contributions.
