JOB OVERVIEW

Position: Social Media Content Creator & Scheduler
Company: NYC Fynest Expo
Location: Remote – Work from Home
Hours: 8 hours per week
Time Zone: U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST)
Shift: Must be available to work overnight hours in the Philippines (between 9 AM–6 PM EST, preferably 1–2 hours each business day)
Rate: $200/week (for 8 hours/week)

About the Role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and creative social media content assistant to help support the NYC Fynest Expo – a high-energy, culture-forward lifestyle and wedding expo based in New York City. This is a part-time, remote role with consistent weekly tasks that directly support content delivery, visual brand growth, and vendor exposure.

What You’ll Be Doing (Weekly Tasks):
Design 3–5 branded social media posts per week (Instagram carousels, Reels covers, countdowns, vendor spotlights)

Edit and schedule 1–2 short-form Reels per week (footage will be provided)

Write captions and insert appropriate hashtags for each post

Maintain a social content calendar (we use Google Sheets + Canva)

Ensure all posts follow branding and tone guide (we’ll provide samples and templates)

Organize all assets and designs in folders weekly for review

Tools You’ll Use:
Canva Pro (required)

Google Drive & Google Sheets

Meta Business Suite or Upgrade to see actual info for scheduling

TikTok (basic upload/scheduling knowledge)

Slack or WhatsApp for check-ins

What We’re Looking For:
At least 1–2 years of experience designing social content (Instagram, TikTok)

Strong Canva portfolio

Familiarity with cultural/lifestyle or event branding a plus

Strong eye for visual layout and timing

Ability to work independently, respond to messages during EST, and meet weekly deadlines

Willing to take feedback and update designs quickly

Weekly Deliverables Checklist:
3–5 finalized post designs (Reels thumbnails, carousels, spotlights)

Scheduled posts in Meta Suite or Later with captions and hashtags

1–2 Reels edited and saved for approval

Content calendar updated and submitted every Friday

Folder of all working files (organized by week)
