Reels Sports Scriptwriter

ABOUT US:
Viral Vault Studios is a fast growing digital media company creating viral content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms. One of our channels features sports stories explained through the perspective of a dog in a simple, entertaining, and highly engaging format.

We’re looking for a talented writer who can create high retention sports scripts that simplify stories, capture attention quickly, and keep viewers watching. Preferably someone passionate in sports, particularly American Football or NFL.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Write short form sports scripts for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts
- Research trending sports stories, athletes, and viral ---------- nts
- Write in a simple, entertaining dog character voice
- Turn complex sports topics into fast paced, easy to follow storytelling
- Brainstorm hooks, titles, and video ideas based on trends
- Collaborate with editors, voice actors, and QA before production
- Meet weekly output targets and strict deadlines
- Apply feedback quickly and improve scripts based on performance

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong passion for football, basketball, soccer, hockey, and sports culture
- Excellent English writing and storytelling skills
- Experience writing short form sports or social media content
- Strong understanding of viral storytelling, hooks, pacing, and audience retention
- Ability to simplify information into engaging content
- Reliable, self motivated, and comfortable working in a fast paced remote environment
- Comfortable receiving feedback and revising quickly
- Writing portfolio or script samples required. Short form content experience strongly preferred.

WORK SETUP:
- Remote role with availability between 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
