JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Legal Recruiting VA (Part-Time)

Location: Remote
Hours: 15–20 hours per week
Reports To: Recruiting Leadership

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Legal Recruiting VA to support attorney recruiting operations and candidate management for a growing legal recruiting and law firm environment. This role will focus heavily on sourcing, candidate coordination, outreach, pipeline management, and administrative recruiting support related to attorney hiring.

The ideal candidate has prior experience working with a law firm, legal recruiting agency, or attorney search firm and understands confidentiality standards, legal hiring dynamics, and partner-level recruiting.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting Support

* Post and manage attorney job listings on LinkedIn, Indeed, and other relevant job boards
* Assist recruiting leadership with identifying and sourcing qualified attorney candidates
* Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process
* Track candidate progress in ATS/CRM systems
* Support outreach to lateral attorneys, including candidate research and personalized communication
* Maintain strict confidentiality in all recruiting matters
* Generate weekly recruiting pipeline and activity reports
* Maintain candidate records, notes, and recruiting documentation
* Assist with reference coordination and scheduling

Qualifications

* Prior experience working with a law firm, legal recruiting agency, or attorney search firm
* Familiarity with attorney recruiting, including partner and lateral attorney hiring
* Understanding of portable books of business and legal practice group recruiting
* Experience with LinkedIn sourcing and professional outreach
* Proficiency with CRM/ATS systems (HubSpot, Clio, Lawmatics, Bullhorn, Crelate, or similar)
* Experience posting and managing legal job listings
* Strong written and verbal communication skills appropriate for senior legal professionals
* High level of discretion, organization, and professionalism
* Ability to manage multiple searches and deadlines simultaneously

Preferred

* Experience supporting partner-level or lateral attorney recruitment
* Experience working with contingency or retained legal search firms
* Familiarity with legal practice areas and law firm structures
* Experience generating recruiting pipeline or performance reports
