Position Overview

The Recruiting Lead will own and drive the company's recruitment strategy, talent acquisition processes, and hiring initiatives across studio operations, Pilates coaches, corporate functions, and leadership roles. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers and leadership, ensuring that Vertex attracts, hires, and retains top talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, relationship-driven, and experienced in full-cycle recruitment within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role requires someone who can balance strategic workforce planning with hands-on recruiting execution while continuously improving hiring processes and talent pipelines.

The position will report directly to Vertex's COO, with a dotted line to the organization's CFO.

Responsibilities:

- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts across all business functions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating interviews, reference checks, offer management, and onboarding support.
- Partner with leadership and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for Pilates coaches, studio GM's, corporate tea ---------- mbers, and leadership positions.
- Develop compelling job descriptions, recruitment campaigns, and sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, social media, and industry partnerships.
- Manage candidate communications and ensure a positive, professional, and engaging experience throughout the hiring process.
- Support staffing efforts for new studio openings, franchise growth initiatives, and ongoing business expansion.
- Track, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, hiring funnel performance, and candidate pipeline health.
- Maintain and optimize applicant tracking systems, recruiting workflows, and hiring documentation.
- Develop and improve recruitment processes, SOPs, and talent acquisition systems to support scalability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams on employer branding initiatives to position Vertex as an employer of choice.
- Stay informed on recruitment trends, market conditions, and best practices to continuously improve hiring outcomes.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment.
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple departments and levels.
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
- Experience developing recruiting strategies and talent pipelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong project management and prioritization abilities.
- Experience using ATS platforms and common recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and Lever.
- Ability to manage numerous hiring priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience within the fitness space strongly preferred.
- U.S-based experience strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting remote and distributed teams.
