Hello! I run a Real Estate Media business here in the states and am looking to bring our video editing in-house. There are plenty of "big box" editors out there, but since they all have giant teams you never know what you're going to get back each time. I want to bring on someone that can be a part of our team and be someone that we can work with to create a consistent look across all of our videos! We specialize in high-end videos and are among the highest quality creators in our area. I would love to find someone that can come in and is comfortable giving suggestions, keeping up with trends in the industry and can give input on where we can improve on our side of the camera as well! We are a team here and would look at you as an equal part of our crew. The ideal candidate would be comfortable with English language since communication and detail is so important in this process.
Proficiency in Final Cut Pro or Davinci Resolve is preferred.
Looking for someone who is familiar with:
- Current real estate video editing trends (High energy edits, Studio 910/JT Visuals style edits)
- Color grading LOG footage (specifically CLog 3 right now)
- Creative transitions / masking transitions
- Higgsfield AI generation
- Familiar with premium captions/masking
We are looking to onboard someone fairly soon in preparation for the busier season coming up!
A test edit will be required with your application. Below is a link to the RAW files for a recent shoot that we did. There are opportunities for Day to Night transitions and other creative FPV shots. You don't need to put together an entire length of video (maybe just something like 30-45 seconds), as long as it is enough to show how you would color grade, music selection, sound design and most importantly how creative you can be! Have fun with it. Please include a link to the completed test edit in your application to be considered.
Instructions for the video -
Address: 123 Main Street, Dallas, Texas
Energetic edit. Fast paced and trendy. Color grading a priority. Okay to have deeper shadows for a more "moody" feel if it works.
At least one day to night transition
Clips at the link below! Use as many or little as you need to feel confident in what you are sending. Feel free to watermark or send a lower res version if you would be more comfortable doing so. Just trying to get a feel of your color grading/editing style using my own clips since I know what the input looks like on these.
We strive to stay on top of current trends and always be innovating and putting out the best possible product for our clients, and our video is a large part of what drives new business to us!
Looking for full time availability! I look forward to talking with you. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
