React Native Developer for Android/Iphone Mobile app

Position Overview
We are seeking a React Native Developer to transform a functional proof-of-concept prototype into a production-ready mobile application for iOS and Android. This role requires a full-stack mindset, as you will be responsible for refining the mobile architecture, building out the backend infrastructure, and navigating the end-to-end app store submission process.

Key Responsibilities

System Architecture & Backend: Transition the app from mock data to a live production environment. This includes designing a scalable SQL database schema, implementing secure user authentication (OAuth/Email), and building a custom API to handle data persistence and caching.
Third-Party Integrations: Establish a robust connection to external specialized APIs to fetch real-time data, ensuring efficient data handling and error management.
Feature Engineering: Develop core production features such as user profile management, historical data tracking, and cross-device cloud synchronization.
Advanced Mobile Logic: Enhance the user experience with sophisticated push notification systems (scheduling, deep linking, and user preferences) and location-based services.
Quality & Performance: Expand test coverage to include integration and E2E testing. Profile and optimize the application for high performance, specifically regarding complex calendar rendering and API latency.
Deployment & DevOps: Manage the full release cycle, including code signing, provisioning, and setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated builds.
Required Skills & Experience

Mobile Mastery: Highly skilled in React Native experience with a portfolio of multiple successfully shipped apps on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Technical Stack: Expert proficiency in TypeScript and the Expo ecosystem (including Expo Router and NativeWind/Tailwind CSS).
Full-Stack Capability: Strong experience in backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar) and SQL database design (PostgreSQL preferred).
API Expertise: Proven ability to integrate, cache, and manage complex third-party data APIs.
Testing Rigor: Experience with unit, integration, and E2E testing frameworks (e.g., Vitest, Jest, Detox).
Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of iOS and Android platform-specific guidelines, submission requirements, and performance optimization techniques.
Ideal Candidate Profile

Product-Focused: You have a track record of taking prototypes to "v1.0" and understand the polish required for a public launch.
Autonomous: You are comfortable making high-level technical decisions regarding hosting, database management, and API style (REST vs. GraphQL).
Detail-Oriented: You care about clean code, comprehensive documentation, and a seamless user interface.
