React Developer

Overview
We are a gym access marketplace that allows users to visit boutique gyms without memberships or contracts. The platform is expanding with new modules aimed at improving scalability, user experience, and monetization.

Before moving into full development, the client is seeking experienced React developers to provide a technical review and outside perspective on the current architecture, product direction, and rollout plan.

Platform & Expansion Modules
• Standardized Pricing: Unified pricing across all partner gyms (network-based access vs single gym passes)
• Class Scheduling: Users can book classes directly through the platform
• Self-Check-in: Users check themselves in, enabling a shift to visit-based payouts for gyms

Current Tech Stack
• Front End: React JS
• Middleware: Node.js
• Database / Infrastructure: AWS

Key Responsibilities
• Review the current product architecture and technical approach
• Provide feedback on scalability, feasibility, and system design
• Assess if the proposed development timeline is realistic
• Identify potential risks, gaps, or inefficiencies in architecture or sequencing
• Recommend improvements or alternative approaches where applicable
• Act as a technical advisor before full build execution

Requirements
• Strong experience with React.js (production-level applications)
• Solid understanding of full-stack architecture (Node.js + AWS preferred)
• Experience with scalable marketplace or platform-based systems is a plus
• Ability to evaluate system design, not just execute tasks
• Strong communication skills to clearly articulate technical feedback

Nice to Have
• Experience with booking systems, marketplaces, or SaaS platforms
• Background in performance optimization and system scaling
• Prior experience in advisory or architecture review roles
