Sacramento Managing Company is seeking a highly skilled QuickBooks Specialist with expertise in the Finance Industry to oversee financial data management, bookkeeping, reporting functions, and accounts receivable (AR) collections. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and experience in hard call collections, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards.
This position reports directly to the Head of Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Perform bank and account reconciliations to support reliable financial reporting.
Generate financial statements and customized reports for management and executive use.
Conduct AR collections, including hard calls to clients with overdue balances.
Troubleshoot QuickBooks-related issues and implement best practices for financial tracking and reporting.
Assist with tax filings, payroll processing, and expense management.
Collaborate closely with the finance team and management to ensure smooth, efficient accounting operations.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience working with QuickBooks Online/Desktop in a professional setting.
Proven experience in accounts receivable collections, including direct client communication (hard calls).
Prior experience in transportation/logistics accounting is strongly preferred.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
