Python programmer

We’re building software that turns construction documents (PDFs, blueprints) into structured data and contract bids. This involves parsing, geometry, file formats (PDF/DXF), and large messy inputs.

Stack

Python (most important)
Vue.js (frontend; AI-assisted is fine)
Linux environment required

How we work

This is a small team with a strong lead engineer.
Progress depends on frequent questions, fast iteration, and challenging assumptions.
You are expected to post daily updates, attend standups, and proactively interrupt when something is unclear or wrong.
Silence or “working in isolation” does not work here.

Strong system-level thinking in Python
Comfort working with partially specified problems
Speed and communication over perfection
Willingness to question designs and push back early
