We’re a custom software development agency looking for a Project Coordinator to help manage client communication and keep software projects moving smoothly through milestone releases.
This is not a heavy technical PM or backend sprint-management role. Our developers handle the technical execution. What we need is someone who can sit between the client and the dev team, help keep things organized, communicate clearly, and make sure deliverables are presented well and moved forward efficiently.
You’ll be working across custom software projects including web apps, mobile apps, internal tools, and business systems.
What you’ll be doing:
Coordinate client communication around project milestones and releases
Help prepare for milestone reviews, demos, feedback rounds, and approvals
Translate dev progress into clear, client-friendly updates
Keep track of open items, pending decisions, feedback, and next steps
Follow up with clients to keep projects moving and avoid delays
Work with our internal team to make sure deliverables are ready and expectations are aligned
Help maintain a polished, professional client experience throughout the project lifecycle
Support light documentation, task tracking, and meeting summaries where needed
What this role is not:
Not a deeply technical engineering management role
Not a full product manager role owning roadmap or architecture
Not a scrum master running deep internal sprint process
Not responsible for writing code or technical specifications
What we’re looking for:
Strong client-facing communication skills
Experience coordinating custom software or digital projects
Able to speak confidently with clients while staying organized internally
Good judgment on follow-ups, priorities, and keeping
Comfortable working with developers, designers, and business stakeholders
Detail-oriented without becoming bureaucratic
Professional, responsive, and calm under pressure
Nice to have:
Experience in a software agency environment
Familiarity with tools like Basecamp, Slack, Figma, etc.
Experience helping manage milestone-based fixed-price projects
Ability to spot risks early and raise them clearly
