We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team as a key member of our organization. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in overseeing project execution, and supporting pre-construction efforts. Your expertise in commercial and residential construction, coupled with your leadership abilities, will directly contribute to the success of our projects and the ongoing growth of our organization.
Responsibilities:
Project Management & Coordination: Lead, manage and ensure projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in strict accordance with quality standards.
Pre-construction Support: Collaborate with the pre-construction team to review project plans, specifications, and cost estimates, providing valuable insights and recommendations to optimize project success.
Project Execution: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, monitoring daily progress, coordinating resources, and implementing strategies to achieve project objectives.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication, addressing their concerns, managing expectations, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution, develop mitigation strategies, and implement effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
Subcontractor and Vendor Management: Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of services and materials, negotiating contracts and managing relationships to enhance project outcomes.
Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality control measures, ensuring site compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Cost and Budget Management: Monitor project costs, review financial reports, and implement cost-saving measures to optimize project profitability.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and residential construction, with a strong focus on field operations management and coordination.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices in commercial and industrial projects.
Project Track Record: Proven history of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously, from pre-construction through to completion.
Financial Acumen: Sound knowledge of construction estimating, scheduling, and budgeting.
Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making abilities, with the aptitude to address complex construction challenges effectively and independently.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and virtual communication skills, with the ability to seamlessly collaborate and build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and tea
Tech Savvy: Highly proficient in construction software, project management tools, and virtual collaboration platforms.
Industry Standards: Familiarity with applicable local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes across various project jurisdictions.
