Project-Based CAD Drafter — European Architectural Work (Per-Task Pay)

About SchaalStudio

SchaalStudio is a drafting services company producing architectural permit drawings for established European construction firms.

We're building a small, careful team of Filipino CAD drafters (AutoCAD, BricsCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD) to support our growing project pipeline. This is a remote, project-based role — you work on your own schedule, we pay you per completed task.
We're not looking for a virtual assistant. We're looking for someone who takes pride in clean, accurate technical drawings and wants to build a long-term relationship with a steady source of work.
What you'll do
You'll produce 2D architectural drawings based on briefs we provide. Typical deliverables:

Floor plans (existing condition + new design)
Elevations (4 facades — front, back, both sides)
Cross-sections
Detail drawings at 1:5 scale (wall buildups, etc.)
Room and material schedules

Final delivery is always in DWG and PDF format — what tool you use to produce them is up to you, as long as the output is clean.
What we pay
Per-task, fixed price agreed before you start. We pay for the deliverable, not the time you spend on it. Examples:

Small modification (1 drawing, simple changes): P1,200–2,400
Medium task (2–4 sheets, moderate complexity): P2,400–5,000
Full permit set (8–12 sheets, full WABO package): P10,000–18,000

You d ---------- how long to spend on each task. Faster, accurate drafters effectively earn more per hour worked. Sloppy work gets sent back for revision before payment. The price is for the finished, accepted deliverable.
Payment via Wise, PayPal, GCash, or local bank transfer within 3 days of accepted final delivery. A small paid trial task (P500) is part of the hiring process — paid for any genuine, complete attempt at the brief.
Requirements
You must have:

Working CAD software on your own computer that can produce and export DWG files. We accept any of: AutoCAD (any version 2018 or newer, preferred), BricsCAD (fully accepted), Revit (accepted for 2D permit drawings), or ArchiCAD (with clean DWG export). Please specify which software and version you use in your application.
Reliable internet capable of uploading 50–200 MB files
At least 2 years of professional drafting experience, preferably in architectural or construction work
Strong attention to detail — dimensions must be accurate, layers must be disciplined, line work must be clean
Ability to follow written briefs precisely and ask clear questions when something is unclear
Comfortable working with PDF references and converting them into accurate DWG drawings
Clear written English (you don't need to be fluent — clear is enough)

Helpful but not required: prior experience with Dutch / European architectural conventions, experience with multiple CAD tools, architectural or civil engineering educational background.
Who this is NOT for

Anyone looking for a guaranteed monthly salary in the first 3 months
Anyone who hasn't actually worked in a CAD tool recently
Anyone using a borrowed, school, or shared software license
Anyone who only has SketchUp, Photoshop, or 3D rendering tools — we need 2D technical drafting capability with DWG output
Anyone uncomfortable with constructive feedback — we will mark up your drawings and you will revise them
