About Us
We are a residential building company specialising in new home builds, renovations, and granny flats. We are looking for a project-based Architect to assist with designing and drafting high-quality residential projects. This role is ideal for someone experienced in residential architecture who can deliver functional and compliant designs within tight deadlines.

About the Role
The successful candidate will work closely with our team to develop architectural plans, layouts, and 3D models for our residential projects. Each project will have a completion deadline of approximately 2 weeks, and remuneration will be based on experience, ranging from $8 to $16 AUD per hour.

Key Responsibilities
Develop architectural designs and working drawings for residential homes, renovations, and granny flats.
Ensure all designs meet building codes, regulations, and council requirements.
Collaborate with builders, engineers, and clients to finalise designs.
Provide practical and cost-effective design solutions that align with our construction methods.
Deliver accurate and detailed documentation within the project timeframe.
Make necessary revisions and modifications based on client and company feedback.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
Experience in residential design, including new homes, renovations, and granny flats.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant software.
Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, council approvals, and construction methods. We will share some information about the design codes.
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
