CodeClassroom is an educational technology startup dedicated to creating high-quality, practical, and beginner-friendly online courses in software development. We are seeking a knowledgable and motivated Programming Content Creator to join our small, passionate team for a full-time, long-term role. (8 hours/day, 5 days/week)
Trial week period of 250PHP/hr or 10,000 PHP for the week. Salary negotiation dependent on performance.
Job Description:
We're seeking a talented programmer/software engineer to join our team at CodeClassroom.co. In this role, you'll play a key part in expanding our educational offerings by creating engaging social media content and developing comprehensive coding courses. You'll collaborate closely with our content manager, video editor, and founder (me) to produce high-quality materials that help aspiring coders learn effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Content Creation:
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for short-form videos (e.g., quick coding concept explanations, coding hacks, quizzes) and long-form videos (e.g., code walkthroughs, in-depth concept explainers).
- Generate code snippets, scripts, and even record video footage as needed.
- Assist with static content like humorous or relatable coding
- Work with the content manager/video editor to create captions, thumbnails, and provide direction on editing to best explain coding ideas.
Course Development:
- Partner directly with the founder to design and build new courses, starting with a Back-End Course and followed by a Front-End Course.
- Create a detailed roadmap, including what technologies to teach, how to structure the course timeline
- Develop video scripts for video lessons, code examples for coding challenges, questions for quizzes, create mini-projects, and larger resume-worthy projects.
Requirements:
Must-Have
- Strong programming skills in Python (3+ years preferred)
- Hands-on experience with modern Python web frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
- Experience with relational databases (SQL – PostgreSQL/MySQL preferred) and ORMs (SQLAlchemy, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills for scripting, explaining concepts clearly, and remote collaboration
- Ability to work independently while being open to feedback in a small startup
Strong Plus
- Experience creating educational content (tutorials, videos, courses, blogs)
- CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud deployment (Render, Railway, AWS)
- NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Familiarity with Git and version control best practices
