Job Overview
We are looking for a Video Editor (15 hours per week) to edit course materials. These videos focus on screen recordings, demonstrating how to use AI tools like ChatGPT. The editing style is simple yet professional, with clean cuts, smooth transitions, and occasional zoom-ins on key elements.
If you’re skilled in basic but precise editing, can follow a structured workflow, and have experience editing screen-recorded tutorials, this role is for you!
Responsibilities
1. Video Editing & Optimization
Edit course material videos to ensure smooth cuts and a professional finish.
Remove mistakes, pauses, and unnecessary parts while keeping a natural speech flow.
Apply zoom-ins and focus effects when demonstrating on-screen actions.
2. Audio Enhancement
Add background music (provided) only in the first 10 seconds of the video.
Maintain consistent pacing while keeping the video engaging and distraction-free.
Ensure smooth audio balancing (removing noise and adjusting sound levels).
3. Delivery & Workflow
Follow clear step-by-step instructions for each edit.
Ensure fast delivery within 1-2 days per video.
Maintain consistency in style across all videos.
Requirements
* Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
* Understanding of cutting, zooming, and pacing in tutorial-based videos
* Good English comprehension to edit speech accurately
* Attention to detail to keep edits smooth and distraction-free
* Availability for ~15 hours per week (Flexible: e.g., 3 hours per day or 2 full days with 15 hours total)
