ABOUT THE COMPANY
Manzano Creative is a Canadian content and Meta advertising agency based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, serving service-based businesses — primarily dental clinics and home service companies. We run multiple productions per week, manage active Meta ad campaigns, and coordinate creative work across a distributed remote team.
Our systems run on Slack, Notion, Google Drive, and ---------- . We move fast. We hold ourselves to a high standard of quality and execution. This is an agency environment, not a corporate one.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS
This is not a general admin position.
This is a production-focused role inside a fast-moving content agency. You will be responsible for making sure every video project moves cleanly from shoot day all the way through editing, quality control, revisions, and final delivery — without anything stalling, getting lost, or falling through the cracks.
You are the person who keeps the internal machine running. You know where every project is at every point in the process. You have a creative eye and can tell the difference between a good edit and one that isn't ready. You are organized, detail-oriented, and proactive by nature.
If you need to be reminded to follow up, told what to do next, or struggle to manage multiple moving pieces at once — this is not the right fit.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Project Setup

Creating Google Drive project folders with correct structure
Creating Notion project cards for every new project
Posting and pinning Slack project header threads in #operations-core
Ensuring file naming and versioning standards are followed at every stage
Setting up DRAFT folder structure inside Google Drive and ----------

Production Pipeline Management

Ensuring editors are assigned to every project and hitting their deadlines
Confirming videographer is prepared and ready for every shoot day
Checking on every active project daily — you always know where things stand
Making sure nothing sits idle at any stage without a clear reason
Flagging blockers or delays to the Client Operations Manager immediately

Creative QC

Watching every edit before it moves forward
Judging whether the creative meets Manzano Creative's standards — not just technically, but creatively
Catching errors in captions, pacing, audio, branding, and storytelling
Only passing projects forward when they are genuinely ready

Delivery & Revision Management

Passing approved DRAFT1 to the Client Operations Manager for first client delivery
Receiving revision feedback from the Client Operations Manager
Coordinating revision instructions with the editor
QCing revised drafts and sending directly to the client Slack channel for approval
Moving fully approved projects into the FINAL folder
Cleaning up and organizing all project assets upon completion
Ensuring completed projects are backed up to hard drive

Communication

Primarily internal facing — editors, videographer, and Client Operations Manager
Can communicate directly with clients during revision rounds
Keeps the Client Operations Manager informed of all project statuses at all times so they can answer client questions confidently

REQUIREMENTS

Genuine creative eye — you can watch a video and know if it's good or not
Strong organizational skills and obsessive attention to detail
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously without dropping anything
Comfortable working inside Slack, Notion, Google Drive, and ----------
Strong written English — clear, professional, and confident
Ability to work independently without supervision or reminders
Fast responder — you stay active and communicate quickly during your shift
Expected to attend and participate in weekly tea ---------- etings via video call
Reliable internet connection and consistent availability during agreed hours

NICE TO HAVE

Previous experience working inside a content, video production, or creative agency
Familiarity with video editing — you don't need to edit, but understanding the process helps
Experience with file naming conventions and version control
Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT

WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE
The people who do best here are naturally organized, have a creative eye, and take ownership of their responsibilities without being asked. They notice when something is off before anyone tells them. They follow through on every detail. They communicate clearly and proactively. They understand that in a fast-moving agency, one stalled project affects everyone.

WHO STRUGGLES IN THIS ROLE
If you treat this like a checklist job, lack creative judgment, need constant follow-up to complete tasks, or struggle to manage multiple moving pieces at once — this role will not be a good fit for either of us.

GROWTH OPPORTUNITY
This role has a clear path to full-time as the agency grows. The right person will become a core part of the Manzano Creative team with genuine long-term runway.

HOW TO APPLY
To be considered, please include all of the following in your application:

A brief introduction — who you are, your background, and why this role interests you
Examples of projects or workflows you have managed previously
A short paragraph describing how you stay organized when managing multiple projects and deadlines at once
Your current availability and time zone
A short video introduction (2–3 minutes) — record yourself explaining why you are a strong fit for Manzano Creative specifically. Tell us what you know about what we do, what draws you to this type of agency, and how your experience maps to this role. We are looking for clarity, confidence, and genuine interest — not a polished production

To apply, send your application and video intro to:

Applications without all of the above will not be reviewed.
We look forward to hearing from candidates who are serious about this opportunity.
