JOB OVERVIEW

We are a fast-growing eCommerce dropshipping company selling across multiple EU markets. We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Product Researcher to find our next winning products before the market gets saturated. You will spend your days digging through competitor ads, analysing what is working, downloading and documenting winning creatives, and feeding everything into our research dashboard. You will work closely with the Operations Manager, who will take your research and turn it into live campaigns.
This is not a guessing-game role. We use real data from ad spy tools and structured analysis. If you love the thrill of finding a winning product before everyone else does, this role is for you.

What you will do
Daily ad research
• Search Facebook Ad Library, Minea, and Adspy daily to identify trending and high-spend ads in our niche
• Filter by engagement, run time, and reach to find ads that are genuinely scaling — not just boosted
• Identify the product, the angle, and the hook used in each winning ad
• Track new entrants and monitor what established competitors are testing

Competitor analysis
• Visit competitor stores to document pricing, upsells, bundle offers, and guarantee language
• Go through competitor funnels end-to-end and document the full flow with screenshots
• Identify gaps in competitor positioning that we can exploit with our own angle
• Note shipping times, product reviews, and customer complaints to find improvement opportunities

Ad download and dashboard entry
• Download winning competitor video and image ads and save them in the shared drive, organised by product
• Log every winning ad into the research dashboard: product name, ad link, ad spend estimate, hook, angle, target market, and your commentary
• Tag each entry clearly so the Operations Manager and Media Buyer can filter and use it instantly
• Keep the dashboard clean and up to date — no orphaned entries, no missing fields

Product reporting
• Submit 3–5 researched product opportunities per week in our standard product report format
• Each report must include: product overview, winning ads found, competitor store links, suggested angle, estimated market demand, and a recommendation on whether to test
• Flag products that are already oversaturated so we do not waste budget testing them
• Present your top pick each week in a short async video or voice note walking through your reasoning

Who you are
• You have at least 1 year of experience in eCommerce product research, dropshipping, or a similar role
• You know how to use Facebook Ad Library and at least one paid spy tool (Minea, Adspy, PiPiAds, or similar)
• You understand what makes an ad “winning” — not just high likes, but actual spend and run time signals
• You are highly organised and consistent — you follow the same process every day without being reminded
• You can write clear, structured notes in English — your reports need to be usable by the team without a follow-up call
• You are proactive — you flag opportunities and problems before being asked
• You understand the EU beauty, health, or wellness market (or are willing to learn it quickly)

Nice to have
• Experience working in a dropshipping business or for an eCommerce brand
• Familiarity with Funnelish, ClickFunnels, or Shopify from a research perspective
• EU language skills — French, German, Dutch, Spanish, or Italian
• Understanding of Facebook ad metrics: CPM, CTR, ROAS, frequency
• Experience estimating competitor ad spend from tool data

How we work
We are a small, fully remote team. We communicate async-first via Slack or Notion. You will have a daily check-in with the Operations Manager and a weekly product review call. We use structured templates for everything — your job is to fill them accurately and consistently, not to reinvent the process.
We move fast. When a winning product is identified, it goes into testing within days. Your research directly feeds the business, so quality and speed both matter.
