Product Designer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Product Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product design, with a particular focus on developing portable, extended display monitors for laptops. This role requires an individual who is adept at creating detailed drawings and prototype videos, and who has a deep understanding of designing products with moving parts.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and Design: Develop innovative design concepts for a dual-display portable extended monitor for laptops, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and user ergonomics.
Prototype Development: Create detailed drawings and prototype videos that effectively communicate design concepts and functionality.
Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to understand and integrate mechanical components and ensure that design specifications are feasible for manufacturing.
User-Centric Focus: Ensure that all designs meet the needs of the user, with a focus on portability, ease of use, and overall user experience.
Materials and Manufacturing: Select appropriate materials and processes for the product, keeping in mind durability, cost, and manufacturing capabilities.
Design Iteration: Continuously improve designs based on feedback from testing, user reviews, and cross-functional teams.
Project Management: Manage multiple aspects of design projects, including timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.
Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences to ensure our product remains innovative and competitive.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in product design, particularly with portable electronic devices and dual-display technology.
Strong skills in creating prototype videos and detailed drawings.
Solid understanding of design for manufacturability and designing with moving parts.
Proficiency in design software such as CAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
