Existential Audio is looking for a highly motivated Product and Community Manager to help support and grow our macOS audio apps.
This role combines software testing, documentation, tutorial creation, customer support, community management, market research, and partnership outreach. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys music/audio software, communicates clearly, and can work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Test macOS audio apps and report bugs clearly
- Reproduce user issues and document steps to reproduce
- Write help articles, tutorials, FAQs, and setup guides
- Create simple instructional videos or screen recordings
- Respond to customer support
- Help manage
- Track common user questions, bugs, and feature requests
- Research competing apps and summarize findings
- Identify and contact potential partners, creators, streamers, musicians, producers, podcasters, and educators
- Suggest improvements to onboarding, documentation, support, and user experience
Requirements:
- Must have access to a Mac/macOS computer
- Experience testing software applications
- Experience with audio production, audio software, DAWs, plugins, streaming tools, or related products
- Strong written English communication
- Ability to write clear documentation and tutorials
- Ability to create instructional videos or screen recordings
- Experience handling support
- Experience moderating
- Comfortable doing market research and outreach
- Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Preferred:
- Musician, producer, audio engineer, podcaster, streamer, or creator
- Loves video games or gaming culture
- Familiar with Logic Pro, GarageBand, Ableton Live, OBS, Zoom,
- Experience creating YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or short-form tutorial content
Who This Is For:
This role is a good fit for someone who likes technology, music, software, and online communities. You do not need to be a software developer, but you should be comfortable learning technical products and explaining them simply.
You should enjoy figuring things out, helping users, testing software, writing clearly, and improving the overall product experience.
