Procurement and Sourcing Expert

About Us
We are a U.S.-based manufacturer of adaptive sports and mobility equipment, serving customers throughout North America and around the world. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Materials Replenishment & Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support our purchasing and supply chain operations.

This is a long-term remote position working closely with our U.S. manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials and components.
Create and manage purchase orders with domestic and international suppliers.
Source new suppliers and obtain competitive quotations for parts, materials, and services.
Track supplier lead times, pricing, and delivery performance.
Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records.
Work closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to prevent material shortages.
Assist with supplier negotiations and cost-reduction initiatives.
Follow up with vendors regarding open orders, quality issues, and shipment status.
Develop and maintain sourcing databases and supplier scorecards.
Prepare purchasing and inventory reports for management.

Qualifications
Experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Experience with ERP, MRP, or inventory management software is preferred.
Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.

Preferred (Not Required)
Experience sourcing components for bicycles, wheelchairs, sporting goods, or mechanical products.
Experience with machined parts, fabricated components, metals, plastics, or industrial suppliers.
Knowledge of inventory planning and demand forecasting.

Willing to work overlapping hours with U.S. Eastern Time as needed.
