Position Overview

We are seeking an innovative Process Engineer to transform the way our business operates. This role combines process engineering, operational excellence and artificial intelligence to remove bottlenecks, automate manual processes and unlock sustainable value across our manufacturing operations.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will identify constraints, redesign workflows and deploy digital technologies that improve safety, quality, productivity and profitability. You will work across production, maintenance, engineering, supply chain and commercial teams to create a culture of continuous improvement supported by data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities
Lead manufacturing excellence initiatives across all production facilities.
Map and analyse end-to-end manufacturing processes to identify waste, bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Design and implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement programs.
Develop AI-powered solutions that automate repetitive tasks, improve decision making and enhance operational performance.
Identify opportunities for robotics, machine vision, predictive analytics and digital workflow automation.
Implement real-time KPI dashboards using manufacturing data.
Drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvements and production optimisation.
Partner with engineering teams to improve plant layout, process flow and equipment utilisation.
Lead root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies.
Build business cases for automation and capital investment.
Manage cross-functional improvement projects from concept through implementation.
Coach operational leaders in Lean thinking and continuous improvement methodologies.
