Power BI Developer- DAX, M-code, dashboards (Contract Position)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer with at least 5 years of experience to join our team on a full-time contract basis for an exciting 2-month project. The role involves creating Power BI dashboards and reports, and the ideal candidate will be proficient in Python, familiar with data from systems like JIRA, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and TestRail, and ready to collaborate closely with our team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Write and understand DAX formulas for complex data calculations.
• Utilize Power Query and M-Code for data transformation and automation.
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and provide insights.
• Jump on Zoom calls as needed and maintain daily communication with the team via Slack.

Technical Skills:

• Power BI Development: Strong expertise in creating Power BI reports, dashboards, and custom visualizations.
• DAX Formulas: Proficiency in writing and understanding DAX for advanced data analysis.
• Power Query and M-Code: Experience in data cleansing and transformation using Power Query and M-Code.
• Python: Proficiency in Python for custom data processing or advanced analytics.
• Familiarity with Data Types: Understanding of the type of data coming out of systems like JIRA, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and TestRail.

Soft Skills:

• Communication: Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and articulate technical details.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Project Management: Ability to manage tasks, timelines, and deliver within the agreed timeframe.

Qualifications:
