Podcast Video and Audio Editor

We're seeking a skilled freelance podcast editor to join our team and help us deliver high-quality video and audio podcast content for our clients.

What You'll Be Editing
- Video podcasts: In-person recordings with multiple audio and video tracks
- Audio-only podcasts: Clean, polished audio content
- Virtual recordings: Content captured via Zoom, Riverside, and similar platforms
- Episode length: Typically 30-50 minutes per episode

Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce podcast episodes from raw footage/audio to final delivery
- Create engaging intro sequences featuring episode highlights
- Design and implement lower third animations throughout episodes
- Maintain consistency with client branding guidelines and visual standards
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Ensure quality edited podcasts by reviewing them before submitting for internal review
- Collaborate with our team through project management tools

Timeline Expectations
- Turnaround time: 2-3 days per episode
- Workload: 10-15 hours per week (with potential for growth)
- Schedule: Flexible hours - work on your own time, just meet deadlines

Required Skills & Experience
- Essential: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Proven experience editing both video and audio podcast content
- Strong understanding of multi-track audio mixing and video synchronization
- Experience with motion graphics and lower thirds creation
- Knowledge of podcast production workflows and best practices
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently
