Podcast Manager/Editor

Untamed Mama is looking for an experienced and skilled Podcast Editor to manage and edit our podcast episodes. As we expand our content offerings, we need someone who can take our podcast to the next level, ensuring each episode is polished, engaging, and aligned with the brand's voice. If you have a passion for podcasting and experience in editing and audio production, we'd love to hear from you.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Edit podcast episodes, including cutting, trimming, and arranging audio to create seamless and engaging content.
* Clean up audio by removing background noise, clicks, and other audio imperfections to ensure high-quality sound.
* Add intro/outro music, sound effects, and any necessary transitions.
* Ensure the audio is mixed and mastered for consistency and clarity.
* Add tags, metadata, and publish episodes to hosting platforms (such as Libsyn, Anchor, etc.).
* Coordinate with the podcast team to ensure timely release and production of episodes.
* Ensure all episodes align with the Untamed Mama mission and values.
* Create and manage podcast show notes and episode descriptions for each release.
* Provide suggestions on content flow and improvements based on listener feedback or engagement metrics.

**Skills and Requirements:**

* Proficiency in audio editing software (such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, GarageBand, etc.).
* Strong understanding of audio mixing and mastering.
* Experience in podcast production from start to finish.
* Ability to work with and edit different audio formats and file types.
* Familiarity with podcast publishing platforms and distribution channels.
* A keen ear for quality audio, ensuring each episode is clear, professional, and enjoyable for the audience.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Experience working with Christian and/or parenting-focused content is a plus.

**Additional Information:**

* This is a remote, part-time position with flexibility in hours.
* The ideal candidate will have experience editing podcasts and a passion for the topics we discuss on the Untamed Mama podcast.
* Candidates must be able to work independently and manage multiple episodes in a timely manner.
