Podcast Clips & Reels for Podcast Studio (Long-Term)
Pay:
$10-20 per edited short-form video (we need 10-15 edited videos per week and have a LOT of videos that can be edited)
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled short-form video editor to repurpose long-form podcast and YouTube videos into high-performing short clips for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
This is not basic cutting. We want someone who understands retention, pacing, hooks, captions, and storytelling for social media.

Responsibilities
-> Repurpose long-form podcast or YouTube videos into 30–90 second short-form clips
-> Identify strong hooks, emotional
-> Add dynamic captions in a clean, modern style
-> Apply jump cuts, zooms, and pacing optimized for retention
-> Create simple but eye-catching thumbnails for each clip
-> Follow brand style guidelines (fonts, colors, formatting)
-> Deliver consistently and on time
Requirements
* Proven experience editing short-form content for TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts
* Strong understanding of hooks, retention, and short-form storytelling
* Clear sense of caption placement and readability
* Proficient with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools
* Able to take feedback and improve quickly
* Reliable internet and consistent availability
Bonus (Nice to Have)
* Experience editing podcast clips
* Familiarity with viral short-form trends
* Ability to suggest clip timestamps from long-form videos
* Experience editing talking-head content
Compensation
* $10-20 per edited short-form video (we need 10-15 edited videos per week)
* Regular workload available for the right person
