Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management: Lead our IT Support Team to ensure the smooth operation of critical systems, exceeding customer expectations.
Platform Architecture: Shape the future of our platform architecture, ensuring it meets current and future business needs and aligns with strategic goals.
Infrastructure Modernization: Oversee the continuous modernization of our infrastructure, focusing on reliability, scalability, and cutting-edge technology.
Security and Compliance: Implement robust IT policies and security controls, adhering to PCI DSS and other regulatory standards to protect our assets.
Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets effectively, optimizing costs related to platform operations and technology investments.
Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with software and hardware vendors, ensuring compliance with AMC and SLA agreements.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and report on platform performance, team effectiveness, and cost metrics to ensure top-tier service delivery.
Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans, leading quarterly DR activities with thorough reporting.
Innovation and Research: Lead your team in exploring emerging technologies and industry trends, driving innovation and enhancing platform capabilities.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other technical and business units to ensure seamless integration and alignment of platform strategies.
Team Development: Mentor and develop your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred certifications: ITIL, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Additional certifications like CISSP or PMP are advantageous.
Minimum of 10 years of IT infrastructure experience, including 5 years in leadership roles and 2 years in executive positions.
Proficient in hands-on managing datacenters, communication facilities, networking, VMWare, EMC, Windows Server, Linux, Cisco network appliances, Kubernetes, Azure infrastructure and services, and more.
