Cool Cat Fence is a fast-growing U.S.-based fencing contractor specializing in residential and commercial fencing solutions. As we scale, we are strengthening our financial operations and are seeking a highly capable Payroll & Accounting Support Contractor (Philippines-based) to support payroll processing, reconciliations, and financial data accuracy.
This is a key operational role supporting U.S. payroll and accounting workflows. We are looking for someone experienced, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently within structured financial processes.

Support end-to-end payroll processing preparation and validation for U.S. payroll cycles
Maintain and reconcile payroll records, employee compensation, and deduction data
Assist with month-end payroll reconciliation and reporting support
Verify accuracy of wages, overtime, commissions, bonuses, and adjustments

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
CPA preferred OR 3–5+ years of relevant accounting/payroll experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles (reconciliations, accruals, journal entries)
Experience with payroll systems (e.g., Gusto, ADP, QuickBooks, or similar)
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations)
Experience with payroll reconciliation and reporting processes
High attention to detail and strong analytical ability
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote contractor setup
Strong integrity and discretion with sensitive financial information
What We’re Looking For
Someone who understands payroll from an accounting perspective, not just data entry
Strong ownership of recurring financial processes
Ability to identify issues and resolve root causes
Reliable, consistent, and detail-focused execution
Clear communication with U.S.-based management
Comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced environment
Proactive mindset with continuous improvement approach
This is an independent contractor role and does not create an employer-employee relationship. Responsibilities may evolve as the company grows, with potential expansion into broader accounting and financial support functions.
