JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing US based dermatology practice looking for a warm, sharp, and dependable Patient Support Representative to help take care of our patients by phone and message. Our patients call and message us all day with questions about appointments, forms, directions, and general concerns, and we want a friendly, reliable person to be one of the voices they reach.

What matters most to us is common sense, maturity, and the ability to work independently -- someone who can read a situation, make a sensible decision, and keep things moving without needing a supervisor standing over their shoulder. We value this above all else. Experience in a medical office or in dermatology is a plus, but we would much rather have a mature, independent, common-sense person than someone with industry experience who needs constant hand-holding.

You must have excellent spoken and written English, a reliable high-speed internet connection, a quiet place to take calls, and a working headset. You will work US East Coast hours, which is an evening/overnight shift in the Philippines -- please only apply if that schedule works for you long term.

If you are interested in this position, please send me an email with your resume and answer the following questions:

1. What are your preferred hours of work/availability?
2. How many hours per week would you like to work -- minimum and maximum?
3. What experience do you have in customer support or patient support, and through what channels (phone, chat, email)?
4. Tell me about a time you handled a difficult situation on your own, with no one available to ask for help -- what happened and what you did.
5. Will you be working with me directly, or are you part of an agency? Will you be delegating any of your work to another VA?
6. What experience, if any, do you have in a medical office or in dermatology? If none, what is the closest related experience you have and how is it relevant?
7. When is the soonest you can begin work?

To be considered, please begin your response with the words "Happy to help!" and answer each question above in order.
