Part-Time Video Editor (Daily Shorts Plus Occasional Simple YouTube Cuts)

Salary: $400 to $500/month

Hours: Part-time, flexible hours, around 20 hours per week or less. You can work whenever you want as long as deadlines are always hit and the work is done on time. If you're fast, you finish fast.

About the role
I run a fast-growing brand in the AI and ecommerce space. I'm looking for a skilled video editor who is precise, reliable, and actually follows instructions. The main, everyday work is quick short-form edits, with the occasional simple long-form video mixed in. If your quality is high and you're efficient, the work won't take long, and there's room for more work and more pay over time.

This role lives and dies on attention to detail. I've worked with a lot of editors who are "good enough" and it drives me crazy. The music choice is off, the audio isn't balanced, the aspect ratio is wrong. I need someone who treats every single export like it has their name on it.

What you'll do
-Edit 2 short-form videos per day for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. These are quick edits and the core of the role
-Work in two short-form styles: talking-head clips of me at my desk, and B-roll and lifestyle style edits set to music
-Occasional long-form video editing, simple cuts
-Handle quick revisions when needed

Must-haves
-Elite attention to detail. This is the number 1 reason I'm hiring. If you regularly miss details, leave audio unbalanced, or export the wrong aspect ratio, this is not the role for you
