We are seeking a Part-Time Technical Hosting Blog Post Writer (AI-Powered) who can produce highly technical, hosting-focused content with accuracy, practical depth, and strong hands-on credibility. This is a flexible, remote, hourly role for someone who understands real infrastructure and uses AI as a speed + quality multiplier (with rigorous verification).
## What You’ll Do
You'll use AI to work more efficiently in day to day writing and mainly do:
- Write deeply technical blog posts about hosting, infrastructure, and operations (how-tos, comparisons, troubleshooting, architecture).
- Create practical, copy-paste-ready guides (commands, configs, playbooks) for real-world deployments.
- Produce content covering Linux, web servers, DNS, TLS/SSL, reverse proxies, containers, and common hosting stacks.
- Document step-by-step procedures for migrations, optimizations, backups, security hardening, and i
- Validate technical correctness: run commands, test configs, reproduce issues, and confirm expected outputs before publishing.
- Maintain a clean content workflow (outlines ? drafts ? technical review ? final) and keep docs consistent across versions.
- Collaborate with the team/clients to turn real ops work into high-quality educational posts.
## What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience writing **highly technical hosting/infrastructure content** (not generic SEO).
- Strong Linux fundamentals and ability to explain complex systems clearly and precisely.
- Comfortable with Bash/Python snippets, configs (Nginx/Apache/Caddy), Docker/Compose, and deployment workflows.
- Solid networking knowledge (DNS records, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VPN basics) and ability to communicate it.
- AI-native writing workflow: you use LLM tools daily to accelerate research/drafting, but you verify everything (tests, references, reproducible steps) - very important.
- Strong structure and clarity: you write with correct terminology, accurate caveats, and well-scoped assumptions.
## Topics You May Write About
- Nginx/Caddy/Traefik reverse proxy setups, headers, caching, rate limiting, WAF basics
- TLS/SSL automation (ACME), cert troubleshooting, HSTS, modern cipher config
- DNS fundamentals + advanced debugging (propagation myths, split-horizon, common record mistakes)
- Docker best practices for hosting (Compose patterns, networks, volumes, secrets)
- Linux performance tuning and troubleshooting (IO, memory, CPU, systemd, logs)
- Monitoring/logging/alerting (Prometheus/Grafana, Loki, ELK/OpenSearch, Sentry patterns)
- Backups and restore verification, disaster recovery drills, HA basics
- Security hardening for servers and hosting environments (SSH, fail2ban, firewall, least privilege)
- Migration playbooks (WordPress, mail, apps), uptime-safe cutovers, rollback plans
## What We Offer
- Flexible part-time hours, fully remote
- Competitive hourly rate (direct bank transfer in php)
- Interesting topics across real-world hosting setups
- We provide premium AI tools like Codex (Pro) and/or Claude Code (Max) (or equivalent)
## Interested?
Send:
- A short note about your technical hosting background
- The AI tools/workflows you use (and how you verify correctness)
- 2–3 links or samples of technical writing (or a short excerpt)
- 1–2 examples of hosting systems you improved or guides you produced (with measurable outcomes if possible)
