[Part-Time] SEO Web Auditor

We're looking for a technically sharp SEO Web Auditor who genuinely enjoys getting into the weeds of a website and making things work the way they should. If diagnosing crawl issues and cleaning up a messy site gives you a little thrill, keep reading.

This is a part-time role — 20 hours a week — and we're not looking for someone we have to babysit. You've been around the block, you know what good work looks like, and you take ownership of your output.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be responsible for the technical and on-page SEO health of a portfolio of client websites. Every quarter, you'll run a full audit, identify what needs fixing, and actually fix it, end to end.

On any given week, you might be:

1. Running thorough quarterly audits using tools like Ahrefs or Google Search Console.
2. Pushing site health scores above 90% and keeping them there, audit after audit.
3. Managing workload and delivering completed optimizations on schedule, every quarter.
4. Rolling up your sleeves on fixes like:

Title tags and meta descriptions — writing, optimizing, and cleaning up duplicates or missing entries
H1s and heading structure across key pages
Redirect chains, 4xx errors, and 5xx server issues
Image compression, sizing, file naming, and alt text
Duplicate content and thin page issues
Schema markup gaps or errors
Anything else the audit surfaces — there's always something

What Makes You a Great Fit

1. Hands-on SEO experience, technical and on-page both.
2. Self-directed and dependable — you can take a site, run the full process, and deliver without constant check-ins.
3. Comfortable working inside HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, where SEO demands it.
4. Follows instructions carefully, when filling out the intake form below, type the job title with the word orange at the end
5. Familiar with platforms like WordPress, Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, or similar. Experience with e-commerce or large-scale sites is a plus.
6. You have a PayPal account.
