Part-Time Outreach Assistant for a Creator Software Startup

We are looking for a sharp, reliable, and thoughtful Outreach Assistant to help us find and contact potential users for contentgrove, a simple analytics tool for YouTube creators.

contentgrove helps creators see which videos actually drive clicks, conversions, and sales, so they can stop guessing and make better content and business decisions.

This is not a generic VA role.

We need someone who is strong at research, clear written communication, and respectful outbound outreach. Your job is to identify good-fit leads, send personalized messages, follow up professionally, and help us start conversations with the right people.

This role is best for someone who enjoys writing, research, and business development, and who can work carefully without sounding spammy or robotic.

The upside in this role comes from bringing in real paying customers. If you can consistently turn outreach into signups that become paid users, your commission can grow meaningfully over time.

Compensation
This role includes a fixed base of USD 200/month plus 50% recurring commission on any paying customers you personally bring in through your outreach. Commission is paid on collected subscription revenue only, starts once a trial converts into a paid user, and continues for up to 12 months per customer as long as that customer stays active. This is designed to give you both a stable base and strong upside if you can consistently bring in real users.

- Selected YouTube creators who actively sell a product, offer, or service

What you will do
- Research and build targeted lead lists based on clear criteria
- Find the right decision-maker for each lead
- Write and send personalized outreach messages through email or LinkedIn
- Follow up with leads in a professional and organized way
- Track all outreach activity in a shared spreadsheet or CRM
- Flag warm leads and positive replies quickly
- Help guide qualified leads into a trial and eventually a paid plan
- Share feedback on objections, patterns, and messaging that seem to work

What we are looking for
- Excellent written English
- Strong research skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with personalized outreach, not copy-paste spam
- Organized and dependable
- Able to work independently and give clear updates
- Comfortable using Google Sheets or similar tools
- Good judgment about who is and is not a strong fit

Nice to have
- Able to use AI and Agents to improve workflows
- Experience with lead generation, outreach, SDR work, or appointment setting
- Familiarity with creators, YouTube, online education, coaching, or digital products
- Experience using LinkedIn for business outreach
- Experience with email outreach and follow-up
